Welcome to my blog

I am not really sure how you do a blog so I will stumble through this like I do most things and hopefully it will work out.  The purpose of this blog is to share with everyone some of the things that I do to stay in shape.  To start a little background on why I do what I do.  About three years ago I was in a pretty decent car crash I walked away with only minor injuries but they still bug me from time to time.  When I moved to Utah I could barely run the required mile and a half for the Air Force physical test.  I had to do something I had lived life in such an unhappy physical state for far to long.  Between a good diet and Crossfit I started to change the way I looked at life.  The year I turned 35 I decided I was going to run a marathon.   This was a big challenge for me and one I have not yet completed.  Last year I ran 2 half marathons and a bunch of smaller races.  I always said that their was a reason why you never saw a Polish person on the stage at the olympics for track and field.  Although I know there is no way I will ever be great at running I love i know and it is a part of my life.  So if you are following this you will get to find out what I do from a day to day basis along with types and tricks that I about nutrient and training.  So here is to an amazing 2012!!
